How does the Pilkington energiKare™ range work ?

Pilkington energiKare™ is unlike ordinary double-glazing, because it works in two ways; reducing the amount of heat lost, and allowing more of the sun’s heat energy in.

It’s a combination of glass from our premium ranges, to help achieve the highest window energy rating (WER) or a very low U-value.

Filling the double glazed unit with either argon gas or air combined with a warm edge spacer, reduces the amount of heat escaping from the windows. This helps to further improve the thermal performance of your window, making your home feel warmer.
